Drunk and Disorderly

Drunk and Disorderly, Drunk and Disorderly,
They took me to the cells, Drunk and Disorderly,
I've been fussing and fighting all over town
Falling in the gutter like a crazy clown

Drunk and Disorderly, Drunk and Disorderly,
They threw me in the slammer, Drunk and Disorderly,
The cops don't like me; I fill them all with dread
I know that big ugly one, wants to kick me in the head

I woke up in the morning all battered bruised
They brought in my breakfast and a lot of bad news
They're charging me this morning, so I'll appear in court
Charged with affray or something of the sort

Drunk and Disorderly, Drunk and Disorderly,
You are charged with being Drunk and Disorderly,
You were fighting with the law; we can't have that at all
You're going straight to jail boy and won't get out till fall

Drunk and Disorderly, Drunk and Disorderly
That demon drink has made a monkey out of me
They took me to the farm and made me serve my time
Digging ditches with the other sorry bitches all in a line

I got out of jail and I found the nearest bar
I knew I could handle it and wouldn't go too far
I didn't want to go back and spend more time in jail
But just a few hours later, I was destined to fail

Drunk and Disorderly, Drunk and Disorderly,
They took me to the cells, Drunk and Disorderly,
I've been fussing and fighting all over town
Falling in the gutter like a crazy clown
